Dr. Kevin Giangrasso is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the evidence-based treatment of individuals and families across the developmental lifespan. He is extensively trained the psychological treatment of depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, sleep, disruptive behavior disorders and ADHD, and anxiety-related difficulties such as panic disorder, specific phobias, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and stress.

Dr. Giangrasso obtained his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his Psy.D. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his pre-doctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where he was supervised and trained by some of the world’s foremost experts in the field in clinical treatment, as well as teacher, clinician, and parent consultation. Dr. Giangrasso then completed his pre-doctoral internship the VA Medical Center in Coatesville, PA and his postdoctoral training at a group Cognitive Behavioral Therapy practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Most recently prior to founding Bergen CBT, Dr. Giangrasso served as Director of Supervision and Training in a large clinical practice in Manhattan and as an associate psychologist in Englewood, New Jersey. Dr. Giangrasso is licensed in both New York and New Jersey and was voted as one of New Jersey’s Favorite Kids Docs for 2019 in New Jersey Family Magazine.

Dr. Prerna Arora is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the delivery of evidence-based treatments for children and families. Dr. Arora has expertise in the treatment of depressive disorders and other mood disorders; anxiety disorders, including social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, panic disorders and OCD; and behavioral disorders, including ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder. In addition to treating children and families, Dr. Arora also consults with schools and primary care professionals regarding their mental health practices.

Dr. Arora obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, where she obtained extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapy with children and families. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and her postdoctoral training at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Arora is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University where she teaches courses in cognitive behavioral therapy and family therapy to graduate students in child clinical and school psychology. Dr. Arora has published over 48 peer reviewed articles, 8 chapters, and two treatment manuals related to topics including treatment of depression and anxiety in youth, school mental health, and culturally-tailored treatments.
